Experience the worlds finest steak in Japan's culinary capital with a hands-on cooking class that is memorable, fun and delicious! Join us in our custom built 'teppanyaki' cooking studio and discover some of the tricks and secrets of Japanese cooking. Assisted by our local bilingual chef, you will use hand forged Osakan knives to prepare teppanyaki vegetables in miso sauce, an addictive spicy cucumber salad, fried tofu with ginger, traditional miso soup and a special 'matcha' cup desert. The main event is a 180g Miyazaki Sirloin Steak served with home made steak sauces and rock salt! Match your creation with local craft beer, sake or green tea and enjoy a truly unique experience!

Meet your chef at Tower Knives by the iconic 'Tsutenkaku Tower' in the Shinsekai neighbourhood and walk together the short distance to our cooking studio for an introduction to your chef, your tools and your menu. We will start by learning to cut using professional grade knives forged right here in Osaka. Once you get the hang of that, you will start to prepare the vegetables for your salad and vegetable dishes.

Next, we will move on to learning about the delicate blend of ingredients required to create miso soup, which we will then complete together before preparing our fried tofu with ginger. We will then fire the teppans again and brief you on the art of searing your beef to perfection. 

Your meal will soon be ready so it will now be time to enjoy the world's finest steak over a glass of local sake, craft beer or green tea. You can leave the clean up to us, and head on your way with full stomachs and great memories!
